Arshya Gaur
Arshya Gaur is an 18-year-old writer, mental health advocate and EdTech entrepreneur. She has authored a book of poetry called How to Open a Parachute, about her journey with anorexia and depression has written regularly for magazines and editorials like India Today, The DailyO, and BusinessWorld. In 2019, Gaur was the youngest panelist ever to be invited to the India Today Conclave to speak about the incidence of mental health among teenagers. Recently, she was featured by Microsoft for her unique audio-visual educational program Read Together and received the UN Volunteers Award for the same. In 2022, she also received the HtCity 30 Under 30 Award for Literature. Arshya is currently a sophomore at Stanford University where she hopes to pursue her interests in political science, writing, and technology.
